Snapseed update adds colour curves, fixes face detection

Snapseed’s first update of 2017 brings a couple of fixes, as well as some sweet new features.
Foremost among them is the addition of curves to the photo-editing app, which anyone remotely familiar with colour correcting images would know about. Curves allow users to precisely adjust the image’s brightness, colours, highlights and shadows, though there are also presets for the uninitiated.
Google has also added the ability to insert text boxes with multiple lines, a very welcome change to the app, as well as fixing the face detection. Now, if the face filter doesn’t work as intended, you can ask the app to “try harder” which likely also takes a longer time than the default.
Snapseed version 2.15 is currently rolling out for both Android on the Google Play Store, as well as iOS on the App Store.
