WhatsApp beta for Android gets new emojis from Android 7.1

WhatsApp beta for Android is getting new emojis from Unicode 9.0. The latest version of the instant messaging platform is getting bunch of new emojis that were introduced with iOS 10.2 and Android 7.1.

It must be noted that you don’t need to be running Android 7.1 in order to try these new emoji. Majority of the new emojis are men and women in new professions and different skin colors. There are also new emojis like clown face, nauseated face, selfie, both the genders doing face palm, , fox face, avocado, bacon and many more. Some of the emojis have also received few tweaks here and there.
